What is a Career Aptitude Test?

 

Career Aptitude Test comprises an online aptitude assessment test followed by counselling by a career expert to help individuals identify and achieve their career goals. The test involves exploring your interests, skills, and values, and then figuring out which occupations are a good match for you. Career counselling can also help you understand the job market and make informed decisions about your education and training.

The Career Aptitude Test is created by psychologists and career experts for scientific assessment of the student's cognitive ability, their personality dynamics, the various aptitude areas and interests. 

 

What does the CAT test consist of?

Intelligence Test - Standard progressive matrices test (SPM) — This test measures the child's cognitive functioning like the aspect of reasoning, judgement and logical relations.

 

Personality Test — Personality is unique to each individual and this test covers all the 16 dimensions of trait that will help in analysis of the inborn traits.

 

Aptitude Test- Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligence says each one of us is intelligent in different areas. This test measures abstract and conceptual reasoning, numerical and verbal reasoning including attention, speed, memory and visualization in various verticals.

 

Interest Test- When you enjoy what you are doing, work becomes fun. This test identifies your areas of interests across 16 occupational areas and 12 subject areas.
